ADHD EVALUATION PROCESS

Our Approach to ADHD Assessment

At Mental Alive, ADHD evaluations follow a structured diagnostic process to ensure an accurate diagnosis and safe treatment planning.

The evaluation includes a comprehensive clinical assessment, review of medical history, and standardized screening tools.

What to Expect

ADHD evaluations at Mental Alive typically include the following steps:

  1. Comprehensive psychiatric assessment

  2. ADHD screening tools and symptom review

  3. Objective computerized ADHD Cognitive testing (20–30 minutes)

  4. Medical safety screening, including labs and urine drug screening when indicated.

These steps help ensure that symptoms are carefully evaluated and that treatment decisions are based on a complete clinical picture.

Important Information

Objective Computerized ADHD Cognitive Testing: $175
This test is a required component of the ADHD evaluation process. The testing fee is separate from the psychiatric evaluation fee unless included in the Self-Pay ADHD Evaluation Bundle.

ADHD Evaluation Bundle (Self-Pay Patients): $350

Includes:

  • Initial Psychiatric Evaluation

  • Objective Computerized ADHD Testing (20–30 minutes)

  • Interpretation of results and treatment recommendations

Additional safety screening may include laboratory testing or urine drug screening when clinically indicated.

Objective cognitive testing helps provide measurable data on attention, executive functioning, and processing speed to support diagnostic decision-making.

Stimulant medications are considered only after a comprehensive evaluation and appropriate medical and safety screening.

Mental Alive reserves the right to determine whether stimulant medication is clinically appropriate based on clinical findings.
