FAQ??

Telehealth & Appointments

  • Telemedicine allows you to have appointments from the comfort of your home. I provide care for conditions like depression, anxiety, ADHD, and more, through secure video conferencing.

  • You will receive a link to your appointment via email or text, and just click to join at the scheduled time.

  • All you need is a device with a camera, a stable internet connection, and a quiet space where we can talk.

  • Please reach out 24 hours in advance to cancel or reschedule your appointment. We can do this via email or phone.

  • Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 business hours in advance to avoid being charged the full service fee. Late arrivals may result in rescheduling and could be marked as a no-show. Appointment reminders are sent as a courtesy, but not receiving a reminder does not exempt you from this policy.

Spravato Treatment & Medication Management

  • Spravato® is a nasal spray FDA-approved for treatment-resistant depression. It is administered under the supervision of a healthcare provider in our office. It can help those who haven't found relief from traditional antidepressants.

  • If you have been diagnosed with depression that hasn't responded to other treatments, you may be a candidate. We’ll review your medical history and treatment plan to determine eligibility.

  • I treat a variety of mental health conditions, including depression, treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, ADHD, and insomnia. For Spravato treatment, we focus on treatment-resistant depression

  • You will need to complete an initial evaluation. During the treatment, you’ll be monitored for safety, and you’ll need a ride home afterward. Bring your ID, insurance card, and any medication details.

  • No, you do not need a prior psychiatric evaluation to begin Spravato® or other treatments here. We can assess your needs during our initial session.

  • The duration of medication use varies based on factors such as the type and severity of your condition, treatment response, and potential side effects. Your provider will assess your progress and adjust the treatment plan accordingly.

  • Like all medications, psychiatric prescriptions may have side effects, which is why regular monitoring is essential. Medication management ensures that any side effects are minimized and necessary adjustments are made to maintain effectiveness.

  • Your provider determines the most suitable medication based on your symptoms, medical history, current medications, and overall health profile. Treatment plans are personalized to achieve the best possible outcomes.

  • Dosages may need to be modified over time based on symptom changes, treatment response, or medication tolerance. Regular follow-ups help ensure you receive the appropriate dosage.

  • Discontinuing medication suddenly can lead to withdrawal symptoms or a return of your condition. Always discuss any medication changes with your provider to develop a safe discontinuation plan if needed.

  • Effectiveness varies for each person. Your provider will track your progress, adjust treatment if necessary, and ensure your medication is helping you manage symptoms effectively.
